Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of policies that describe the implementation of the Independent Curriculum policy at SD Negeri 028 Pematang Reba, West Rengat, Indragiri Hulu based on Kepmendikbudristek No.56/M/2022. This type of research is qualitative research. Determination of research subjects is done using purposive techniques. Sources of data used in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. To test the validity of the research results, a data examination technique was carried out based on four criteria, namely the Degree of Trust (Credibility), Transferability (Transferability), Dependence (Dependability), and Certainty (Confirmability). Based on the results of the study, it shows that: The Communication Process for the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum Policy at SD Negeri 028 Pematang Reba, West Rengat, Indragiri Hulu has been carried out through socialization in the form of training, training, and workshops. However, the volume or portion of the training should be increased. Clarity of information about the Independent Curriculum policy must be conveyed to the target. Socialization of the Merdeka curriculum must be carried out routinely because of the low understanding of teachers and residents about the Independent Curriculum; The readiness of resources in implementing the Independent Curriculum policy at SD Negeri 028 Pematang Reba, West Rengat, Indragiri Hulu is quite adequate; understanding of learning outcomes, learning objectives, teaching modules and projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, need to be further improved through training or training for teachers; the bureaucratic structure in implementing the independent curriculum policy at SD Negeri 028 Pematang Reba, West Rengat, Indragiri Hulu, has gone well in terms of internal coordination of policy implementation.
