Abstract

Public speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structured way that is deliberately intended to inform, influence, or entertain listeners. Public speaking is not an easy task. Need good language skills. Fear and anxiety are a big problem, especially for beginners who have no experience in public speaking. This also happened to students at SMAN 1 Salo. Their language competence is inadequate. That is why training activities How to quickly improve speaking at SMAN 1 Salo were held. This is expected to improve their skills. This activity was carried out in two stages, namely content delivery and practice. Based on the evaluation, the results obtained are very significant. The presence of enthusiastic participants shows that they are very interested.
